DISNEYLAND PARIS WITH TODDLERS

Despite visiting Disneyland Paris almost every year for as long as I can remember, nothing can compare to our most recent trip where we took our daughter for the first time. Miss E was just shy of 2 years old when we visited and she absolutely had the best time ever, she hasn’t stopped talking about it since we came home!
Lets face it, though. Disney holidays take a lot of planning, even without kids. It’s one of the most magical holiday destinations and there’s just so much so see and do, it’s wonderful! With this in mind, I wanted to share some top tips that I found really super useful during our stay. If you are planning to take your little one for the first time, I hope that these might be of some use!
Take a buggy!

Disneyland Paris is huge and you’ll be out for most of the day so make sure you take a foldable buggy with you. Even if your child is a good walker and doesn’t use one at home, they will definitely need one after a few hours exploring everything that Disneyland has to offer!

It’s a good idea to pimp up your buggy (using a bright blanket maybe!) so that you can find it easily when you return from a ride and don’t leave anything valuable in your buggy whilst it’s untended.
If you’re travelling during a busy season, make sure you also take a cheap bicycle combination lock which will allow you to either chain your buggy to railings in the park or lock up the wheels making it harder to move/pinch. We picked one up for just £3.99 at Halfords.
Disneyland do offer buggy hire at both parks though using this more than one day during your trip will soon get very expensive. Plus, they look hideously uncomfortable (pretty much a chair on wheels!) so I wouldn’t recommend them for napping in.
Snacks!

Seriously, don’t underestimate how many snacks you’ll need for a day in the parks. They were our absolute saviour! Disneyland is big and overwhelming and tiring for little kids and it’s good to have plenty to keep them going whilst you wait in many, many queues!

I wouldn’t recommend buying them from Disneyland at all (4 euros for a bag of crisps?! 4 euros for the world’s smallest apple juice?! you get the idea!) so pack as many as you can before you travel!
One thing I found really helpful was having a resealable ziplock bag for each day of our trip and stuffing it with an assortment of healthy and not so healthy treats. For each day of our trip we put in a Nakd bar, an Ella’s kitchen pouch, a small bag of chocolate buttons, a box of raisins, a small bag of Haribo sweets, dried fruit and a chocolate lolly. As well as this we packed a juice carton or a Fruit Shoot per day.
Entertainment

Similar to snacks, I found it super useful to pack a bunch of entertaining things to take with us round the parks. Non-bulky items such as sheets of stickers, wax crayons & paper, bubbles, small packs of character cards, etc. There is an awful lot of waiting around for things in Disneyland and let’s face it, toddlers are not built for that and like to be kept busy!

These bits & bobs were a godsend whilst waiting for parades, shows and letting us eat full meals in restaurants. Amazing!
ID bands

We used one of these on Miss E and whilst we thankfully didn’t need to make use of it, I’d totally recommend your child wearing one at all times within the parks! We used an iDME band from Safe Tots which is reusable and is worn as a bracelet. You can fill in your details and contact numbers and slot them in the pocket inside the band making it easier for people to identify your child if they get lost and contact you quickly.

Go at your toddlers pace

You want your toddler to have the best experience possible so take each day at their pace! Obviously this is more difficult if you are travelling with older children too though!

If your toddler is getting tired and overwhelmed, head back to the hotel or go somewhere quiet for a good nap maybe. Don’t have too many expectations and don’t plan too far ahead! If they want to spend an entire morning riding the teacups and Dumbo repeatedly, then let them! If they would rather spend an afternoon looking at the same Elsa singing money box in every single shop (thanks, kiddo!), then do it! Miss E really surprised us and loved some of the more ‘scary’ rides and she loved meeting all of the characters, she was amazing!
Also! If your toddler does fall asleep in the buggy, make use of the baby switch service so you can take it in turns to go on the big rides whilst they snooze!
Make use of everything Disney has to offer

Especially, if you’re staying in a Disney resort hotel. We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge Hotel which has a lovely pool, offered free cot hire/bed guards/bottle warmers, a peaceful children’s corner with all kind of games and things to do, etc! Disney Hotels run free shuttle buses to the parks too which is superb.

By booking through Disney and depending on how you travel or what hotel you stay in, you’ll also have access to the Disney Express Service, extra magic hours and fast passes for rides. Amazing at any time, but even more handy when you’re travelling with small children!
Within the Disney parks, you’ll find that toddlers and babies are catered for really well. The baby care centres in each park offer quiet spaces with highchairs for feeding, plenty of changing areas and the chance to buy food or nappies if you need to!

Restaurants

Chances are, you’ll be eating out for every meal of your trip so plan this wisely! It’s worth researching your restaurants before you go (this website is amazing) as some cater for toddlers much better than others.

We purchased a Disney dining plan with our package and for some strange reason, Disney do not cater to children under 3 and are expected to eat from your plate! We therefore found that buffet style restaurants were best as you can all eat properly at no additional cost.
Plan to dine earlier than you usually do and book your restaurants before you travel otherwise you’ll face a long queue to be seated. By dining earlier, your toddler won’t be starving and will be a lot calmer at meal times!
Our favourite places to eat were Cafe Mickey (Disney Village), Parkside Diner (Hotel New York), Hunters Grill (Sequoia Lodge), Inventions (Disneyland Hotel), Plaza Gardens Restaurant and Casey’s Corner (both Main Street U.S.A.).

Leesa Mattress // Review

We purchased our current bed four years ago when we bought our first home together. It’s a vintage style frame from Laura Ashley, hand cast in metal with a warm glossy ivory finish. It’s lovely, feminine, super sturdy and will last us for years to come.
The open coil mattress that came with it however? Oh my goodness, not good at all! We’ve had such problems with it since day one…. even purchasing memory foam toppers and plush pillows didn’t help and I was frequently waking up in the morning with back ache and numb shoulders. That mattress had to go!

In a stroke of luck, I was contacted about a month ago by Leesa who are manufacturers of luxury mattresses. They very kindly offered me the chance to try out one of their products* and have a go at ordering from their website.

I’ll be honest….. I was a little reserved at first. As much as I love shopping online, there are just a few things I wouldn’t buy at the click of a button. Cars, perfume and mattresses included. You just want to see these things in real life and try them out a bit first, don’t you?!

But then I took a look at their website and saw that they offer a risk free 100 night trial as well as free shipping and hassle free returns. The trial is both simple and rather impressive; try it out for 100 nights and if your sleep hasn’t improved they will let you send it back for free, refund you fully and donate your mattress. Fantastic!

So I sat down with a cup of tea whilst kiddo took a nap and loaded the Leesa website ready to make my purchase….

The website is fantastic. Sleek, minimal and easy to navigate. Purchasing was painless and took just a few minutes. I loved being able to complete my transaction using PayPal and once I had put in my order, all I had to do was sit back and wait for it to arrive. So far so good! And no pushy salespeople pestering you…. the best!
3 days later, a large-ish rectangular box from Leesa was delivered….

I was genuinely stumped as to how this box could contain a double sized mattress. It wasn’t even the full width of our bed! Nevertheless, I couldn’t wait to say goodbye to our old mattress and to see what was inside the box from Leesa.

Farewell creaky old mattress, we will not miss you…..

Inside the box from Leesa was a curious spiral of what looked like foam. I was still not convinced that once opened, this could be an actual mattress!

According to the website, Leesa mattresses are made up of three layers;

12cm dense core support which adds strength, durability and structure to support sleepers of all sizes.

5cm layer of memory foam in the middle providing body contouring and pressure relief.

5cm top layer made from Avena foam allowing air flow for a cooler nights sleep. Avena foam is similar to latex, but latex free…. perfect for those with allergies!

Here’s what it looks like, straight out of the box (still with it’s protective wrapping on!)….

Once the mattress was removed from the box and positioned on the bed, it was just a case of unrolling it and removing the plastic wrapping from underneath. As soon as the wrap was removed, it instantly started to expand and fill the bed. It was quite an amazing sight.

I’ve put together a little video of the unboxing, so you can see how easy it was for youself!

After an hour or so, the mattress had fully expanded and was ready to be used! It had evened up and filled out perfectly.

The cover feels soft yet cool to the touch. The fabric on top is woven from a polyester/lycra blend and the design of it is understated, modern and clean looking. It’s ever so lovely and looks great in our bedroom.

Naturally, once it was all ready to use I couldn’t wait to get some freshly ironed bedding back on the bed.

…. but not before we had a little visit from Miss E who couldn’t wait to put the new mattress through its paces!

We’ve had the mattress for around a month now and honestly, it’s an absolute joy to sleep on. The mattress is designed for all kinds of sleepers and it seems to be just right for both me and my husband. It’s a medium firmness, supportive but yet soft. My husband is a super restless sleeper but with the way the mattress has been designed, I don’t feel a thing and he doesn’t disturb me!

We’ve both been sleeping well. Very well! He doesn’t complain about being too hot and there’s a possibility I’ve not been complaining about my back half as much. We’re winning at sleep at the moment and if you feel rested enough, you feel like you can achieve anything (says the mama whose child has also just started sleeping properly in the past couple of months!).

Leesa mattresses come with free shipping and are priced at £390.00 for a single, £590.00 for a double, £690.00 for a king size and £740.00 for a super king-size. A premium product i’d say, without the premium price tag!

Freebies UK – Why I Love Free Stuff

By definition, a freebie is a sample, service, or product that people get free. Some people consider products offered when answering surveys as freebies. At best, a freebie should come at zero costs, meaning survey freebies come at the cost of answering questions.
We all love getting free stuff, the only issue if knowing where to find them, especially genuine free stuff. One of the most common places to hunt for freebies is the internet. However, they come with some “strings” attached. A common procedure would be signing up for daily emails before you can go through the various free stuff on offer. If you look at it from the zero cost point of view, the stuff is not completely free, but the good thing is you have not paid any money for the stuff.
In other cases, you will have to chase after the free stuff, whereby a site expects you to click from on link to the next. You might have to do this to many links that you might thing and might not see the point. Many people often throw in the towel and despair, opting to close the site since they have not seen any free stuff come their way. However, it is not always a complete waste of time. If you stick it out, some of the sites are genuine in what they are offering. You will get the freebie, but this will come with some worthless daily emails that might flood in like 3 – 5 times a day.
Some of the online sites that purport to have free stuff turn out to be dubious and just give the genuine site a bad name. They are so many such that they make many online users believe that there is nothing as genuine online freebies. Therefore, this puts many is a quagmire, not knowing what to believe. Be it as it may, giving up on scoring freebies online robs you of the chance to get thousands of possible genuine free stuff.

My Favourite Sites –

I love this freebie site, they update daily with all the latest free samples, freebies, and competitions. They also have a great Facebook page which I check daily.
JustFreeStuff (www.justfreestuff.co.uk)
This free stuff site is very easy to use, they have fantastic free samples and competitions added daily and I go there every single day to check what they have added.
Few people know that giving free stuff is big business; well… it is more of a marketing strategy. One that actually works. Employing the use of freebies is a cheaper advertising and marketing strategy as opposed to undertaking other forms of advertising campaigns. Take it from this point of view; a company that believes has a product that is better than that of its competitors just need to offer free samples to its target customers. If the consumer likes the free stuff, it is more likely the consumer might switch to the new product. As such, the company can easily market their product without having to talk ill about rival products.
In as much as freebies are like a godsend, they also have risks involved. You should find a way of differentiating between a scam and the real deal. You can know you are dealing with dubious people or company when you are asked to give personal information. They say that you need to be cautious of stuff especially when the offer is too good to be true. Be keen and read between the lines when offer any free stuff. Question the reasons behind the offer.

#LoveAtFirstLight with Co-Operative Food

It’s been a week of illness here in our house so we’ve not ventured out much at all, instead choosing to cosy up at home overdosing on duvet snuggles and far too much TV whilst we all get better! The other day though, we had an early morning knock at the door and the postman man outside our house handed me this completely unexpected and rather marvellous Valentine’s food hamper from Co-Operative Food…..
Inside was a selection of coffee, pastries, treats and hazelnut chocolate spread…. everything needed for a perfect breakfast in bed. It was just the lift that I needed to cheer me up and make me forget how ill I actually felt!
Co-Operative Food have teamed up with Fred Sireix from First Dates this Valentine’s day to help create love at first light and a bit of magic in the bedroom. So…. back to bed it was to enjoy some of the treats!
I warmed up the croissants in the oven and made some mugs of steaming hot coffee to enjoy them with. The chocolate spread melted inside the warm croissants…. it was heaven! I don’t really have a sweet tooth but sometimes when I get poorly (or exhausted!), I go a bit nuts for chocolate so this all really cheered me up!
Emilia, of course, helped out with the chocolate treats too. This chocolate lolly is absolutely adorable….
And this sweet little chocolate bear? Well I think he’s just too cute to eat! I’m going to put him away and share him at a later date.
It just goes to show how small acts of kindness can really mean a lot to other people. So, why not treat someone you love (your partner, children, a friend or even yourself!) to a special breakfast this weekend?
If you’re stuck for ideas, take a look at www.co-operativefood.co.uk/breakfasts for a bit of inspiration. Here you’ll find heaps of ideas for indulgent Valentine’s breakfast treats, from Pancake Hearts to French Toast with a twist. I’m sure there will be something to tempt your taste-buds and impress that special someone!

Things I’ve loved this week // 02

A little Sunday round-up, some of the little things that I’ve been loving this week!

New tattoos
This week I popped over to Leeds on the train for an afternoon of tattoo fun. It was the first time I’ve had more than one done in one go but it didn’t hurt half as much as I thought it would. I’m so pleased with them, they are a perfect little pair and I can’t believe that they are mine!

Embracing doing nothing
I’ve been feeling a bit out of sorts this week so I’ve been forcing myself to relax more and just enjoying doing ‘nothing’. I’m usually someone who likes to keep super busy but this week I’ve enjoyed a fair few pug cuddles, watched a bit of daytime TV and even had a sneaky nap (snuggly naps with your kiddo and dog are the best!). I do find it very hard to relax so this is something I want to pursue more in the future…. relaxing is good!
The Weekend
A bit of shopping, far too many treats, de-cluttering and sorting things out at home, a meal from my favourite Indian restaurant, local walks, family time, getting the car cleaned, a tired kiddo fast asleep…. sometimes simple things are the best and equally very much needed!
BlutEngel – Black Symphonies
I’ve purchased quite a few albums this week and I’m super pleased to now have this one in my collection after wanting it for a while. It’s beautiful, perfectly composed and just my kinda thing. It’s been played a fair few times in our house this week, I can’t get enough!
Seasalt Cornwall’s Long Seafolly Jacket
I am thrilled to see that Seasalt have recently released their famous Seafolly jacket in a new longer length. I’ve had my yellow Seafolly for years now and I’ve always dreamed that they would make one just a little bit longer as that’s how I usually like my coats and jackets. Well, now they do! I love the green version, I think I may have to save up a few pennies and treat myself when spring finally arrives!

Chatty Feet // Review

I don’t think I’ve ever written a blog post about socks before but there’s a first time for everything, yes?!
Have you ever bought clothes or accessories for your child and thought to yourself ‘I totally wish they made that in adult size too!’? Well, here’s your chance to be all matchy-matchy with your little one in the most adorable way!
I recently received a family sock set in the post from Chatty Feet and I thought they were too cute not to share here. Say hello to Brad Feet….
….I’ll let you work out which famous movie star these socks are named after. Aren’t they just insanely cute?!
These unisex socks are one of many designs available from Chatty Feet. Other loveable characters include Don Cottone (The SockFather!) and Prof. Brian Sox as well as famous artists such as Feetasso, Andy Sock-Hole, Frida Callus and Vincent Van Toe.
I received a pair of the medium socks (suitable for a UK 4-8) and Emilia received a pair of the children’s socks in 2-4 years. Emilia finds them absolutely hilarious and squeals with delight whenever she sees them! They are a real hit!
They fit like a dream and are super comfortable and warm to wear. The socks are made from 75% cotton, 23% polyamide and 2% lycra. A lovely touch is the smooth seams…. no weird lumps around the toes on these bad boys!
The socks feature the design on both the front and back. When you’re not wearing them on your feet, they are super for putting on an impromptu puppet show! So much fun and perfect for getting that creativity flowing!

Chatty Feet family sock sets would make an ideal gift, they add a touch of humour into everyday life and make a mundane essential item supremely fun!

Adult socks are priced individually at £7.50 and children’s at £5.00 or they can be purchased as a family set for £11.50.
Hop over to the Chatty Feet website and have fun choosing your favourite character!

Things I’ve Loved This Week

A little Sunday round-up, some of the little things that I’ve been loving this week!

My 31st birthday
This date crept up on me all of a sudden! My actual birthday was lovely day consisting of breakfast out in the Peak District, many thoughtful and amazing gifts and a party in the evening. So far, 31 is not so bad…. if only I could shake off this horrid cold I have had for five weeks now! We have lots of plans and lots to look forward to over the next few months…. roll on spring, ay?!

Bulking out my music collection
This minimalist, simple living thing I’ve become so attached to over the last few years has really pushed the things I value most back to the forefront of my mind. It feels so good to get back into music again, properly! Music has always been my number one passion and at the moment I’m really enjoying seeking out new bands, bulking out my music collection and seeing lots of live music.
Lush baths
I don’t think I need to tell you how good these are, do I? Especially during the winter! I’m making the most of having no healing tattoos on the go at the moment by taking as many baths as is humanly possible. So good!
Active fun!
Emilia is an absolute bundle of energy and I’m one of those people that hate spending days at home so I love being able to get out with her each day. We’ve been having lots of fun recently discovering new soft play centres, swimming and even trying out a toddler athletics class. I’m looking into signing her up to a regular sporty class soon as she’d love it!
Fresh flowers
Who doesn’t love fresh flowers? I currently have some of my favourite blooms dotted around the house and they cheer me right up each time I look at them!

What have you been loving this week? Let me know in a comment!

Review // PartyLite Candles

If you’re a regular reader of my blog then you’ll know I have a bit of a thing about candles. They are pretty much my one indulgence and I almost always have one lit during the day at home. They bring a bit of peace and joy into an otherwise busy house!
One brand I’ve had my eye on for a while but have never actually tried before is PartyLite. They are a brand I have seen crop up many times before though everywhere from local fairs to personal recommendations and I am sure you have probably heard of them too! It’s not surprising really when you learn that they employ over 68,000 consultants worldwide and are the world’s leading direct seller of candles, candle accessories and home fragrance products.
I recently received some products from the spring 2016 catalogue to try out and today I wanted to share my thoughts so far. I’ve been really impressed with everything, to the point that I have dotted the items all over the house as I can’t bear to put them away!
First up we have this beautiful pair of porcelain butterfly tea light candle holders. These are my absolute favourite products from the collection which is crazy as something as feminine as this would not usually be my cup of tea!
Each of the candle holders are made from a super fine porcelain which is just a few millimetres thick. The inside of each holder has a contrasting pop of colour, there’s one pink and one lavender. Once you place a tea light inside, these holders light up and provide the most incredible ambience to any room or occasion. I’ll definitely be keeping these out all through spring!
Now, you can’t try out a pair of tea light holders without having any tea light candles to go inside! I’m going to admit that I usually buy my tea lights in bulk from a certain famous flat-pack furniture store so I was curious as to what a more expensive version could offer.
I received a box of Wild Lemongrass scented tea lights from PartyLite and as soon as I opened up the box I could see exactly why these were special!
The tea lights are individually encased in a sturdy plastic holder and are complete with a superb quality wick. I have tried these out a few times now and the burn quality is clean and bright every time.
Let’s not forget the scent too! Wild Lemongrass is a perfect fresh scent, perfect for burning at any time of day. Gentle, fresh, slightly sweet and not overpowering. I think these would be amazing used on a warm spring day. They look absolutely gorgeous in the butterfly holders too!
On a side note, I love the PartyLite packaging. Simple and understated, very much my kinda thing!
Next up, we have the Berry Blossom GloLite candle. Advertised on the box as “the world’s brightest candle”. I couldn’t wait to try this one out!
The candle inside is a chunky 15.5oz double wick candle in a plain glass holder with no visible branding. This very much appeals to my minimalist tendencies, it looks lovely in any room of the house! Once lit, the textured pink wax of this candle radiates a soft, all-over glow which looks luscious at any time of day.

Berry Blossom is a completely delectable scent. Fresh, feminine and playful. I’m really enjoying having this lit candle as much as possible at the moment. It’s just perfect for spring!
Finally, SmartScents! Yep, i’ll admit I had absolutely no idea what either of these products were when I received these two boxes. After a sneaky search on Google though, all became clear….
SmartScents are decorative fragrance sticks that offer round the clock home fragrance. I received a gorgeous little ceramic white flower holder and a pack of five Peony scented sticks.
Without a doubt, I’m an instant fan of these fragrance sticks! They are such a versatile product. Each stick is scored into four so you can easily divide them up and you can use as many as you need to fragrance your home. I have found that two full sticks is more than sufficient for us. Also, with the SmartScents Fragrance Sticks you can mix and match your scents to create your own unique fragrance. Each stick is long lasting and will provide constant scent for up to 30 days. I really, really love these!
Since I’ve had these products on display, people have commented on the lovely scent as they walk into our home. As there’s no oil or flame, you can display this item pretty much anywhere without risking an accident. The no fuss design is also pretty pleasing. Simplicity seems to be a running theme with PartyLite candles. I’ll definitely be stocking up on more of these when I run out!
Have you tried PartyLite candles before? Let me know in a comment below!

Yankee Candle // My Serenity 3 Small Jar Candle Tin

Lighter days, flowers, greenery, new life, open windows, new adventures…. Oh spring, you’re so close I can almost see you just around the corner! I always see the beginning of spring as a perfect time to clear out the old and make plans for new adventures, try out new things and rejuvenate those energy levels.

Yankee Candle have recently released a brand new range of scented candles that inspire the gentle awakening of springtime with a sense of calm, mindfulness and optimism. The fragrances are carefully crafted and the resulting products are modern, clean and fresh.

I’m thrilled to be able to share the My Serenity 3 Small Jar Candle Tin gift set with you today, it’s the perfect way to welcome spring into the home and would make a lovely gift for someone special (if you can bear to part with it, that is!). The gift set features two of the newest fragrances alongside an old favourite in the ever popular small signature classic jar format.

The candles come in a modern white hinged tin with a simple mandala pattern on the outside. The tin is a perfect size to stash those smaller Yankee Candle votive candles and wax melts in once you’re done.

The three candles you’ll find inside are My Serenity, Midnight Jasmine and Peony. An inspired blend of floral and fresh scents, perfect for this time of year.

Midnight Jasmine

A seductively lush perfume of water jasmine, sweet honeysuckle, neroli, and mandarin blossom.

I was super happy to see Midnight Jasmine included in this set. It’s certainly not a new scent but it is most definitely a firm favourite of mine. It’s a fragrance that is at home at any time of day, in most situations. I love it! Midnight Jasmine is a true floral scent with a perfect throw. It’s crisp and fresh yet superbly relaxing. The label design and clean white wax lend themselves perfectly to this gorgeous and seductive scent.

Peony

“The rich scent of Spring’s most coveted bloom – the peony – entices with notes of bright sweetness”

Peonies are one of my favourite flowers so as you can imagine, I was very excited to try out this scent. The delicate pink wax, the super feminine label… I love everything about this candle!
Peony has a good strong throw of scent but it doesn’t overpower at all. I usually tread carefully with floral scents as sometimes they can smell a bit synthetic or like ‘old lady’ perfume but I find the scent of Peony very fresh, delicate and feminine. It’s a really beautiful fragrance!

My Serenity

“The definition of calm – warm pear and orange mingle with tropical flowers and soft musk”

Finally, we have My Serenity which is my favourite scent from this set without a doubt. The candle has an amazing scent throw, I can smell this all over the house when we have it lit. It’s calming and very ‘warm’. If you’re a fan of Pink Sands then I can assure you that this is pretty much the same scent. Of course, the wax is a different colour though! I am such a fan of this My Serenity, everything about it is calm and relaxing. Very tempted to buy a large jar of this!

The My Serenity 3 Small Jar Candle Tin gift set retails for £22.99 and is available on the Yankee Candle website. Each candle will give you 25-40 hours of fragrance.

For a bit of fun, hop over to the My Serenity Gift Finder which is a handy little tool to help you pick the perfect fragrance if you’re having trouble choosing a gift this spring. By taking part, you’ll have the chance to win 2 large jar candles from the new spring collection…. one to gift and one to keep!

What Yankee Candle scents have you been burning recently?

Where To Get Lots Of Freebies

Have you ever been to a carnival where a vendor was offering people a chance to spin a wheel to get free prizes? The line of people waiting to spin was probably extremely long. If there is one thing that always gets people’s attention, it is a way to get freebies. Everyone likes to get free stuff, even if they have to wait in line for it. It is human nature. The good news is that you do not always have to wait in line to get free stuff. There are easier ways to do that. This article will talk about several ways.
One popular way is to go to free stuff UK websites that list all kinds of free deals from various places. These websites try to include the latest deals which are usually highlighted in the front. Free offers are organized by categories of products. You can get free stuff in personal care, gadgets, baby stuff, and household items, just to name a few. These free offers are sponsored by the manufacturers. When you click on a link that is associated with the product, you are directed to the manufacturer’s page where you can get additional information on getting the free item. You usually have to fill out a form asking you for your contact information and answers to some questions about your purchase behavior. This is a way for them to get you on their mailing list. In return, you can get a great sample for free. If you sign up for a lot of newsletters, you will probably get a lot of email ads. Do not forget that you do have the option to remove your email from the list. So, if feel like you are overwhelmed with emails, you should keep the subscription to just the emails that you want to get.
Sometimes you can get freebies if your online purchase reaches a certain threshold. Free shipping is a popular offer. This is actually an effective way to get someone to purchase more in order to fill the free shipping requirements. Or, a free gift can be offered with certain purchases. For example, a common “gift with purchase” promotion is purchasing a specific set of cosmetics in order to get a cosmetic bag for free. This is common with many high-end cosmetic manufacturers.
You can get all kinds of freebies by searching through Craigslist. These are items that people want to give away for one reason or another. The best offers often get snapped up fast by those who respond to the ads first. So, if you are looking for something in particular for free, you need to keep your eye on the list and respond as soon as the right item is posted. Freebies on Craigslist can vary in quality, so do beware of what you are getting.
Any of these ideas above is better than standing in line to get your free item. Just remember that even though you do not have to pay for it with money, you do give up some information about yourself. As long as you are comfortable with that, you can get some really nice freebies out there.
