My top moments from Disney's Hollywood Studios // Walt Disney World 2017

I know that Disney's Hollywood Studios is the park that folk just love to bash at the moment but for me, I flipping l o v e it. Despite the fact that this park is currently going through a whole load of construction work, I love everything that it has to offer.... from unique experiences and heaps of character meets to incredible entertainment. It's so laid back and I find that Hollywood Studios is perfectly manageable for a young child as everything is so compact and there are a lot of shows and outdoor entertainment that provide that all important rest for little legs!

On our 2017 trip, we made much more time for this park as we wanted to make sure that we did *everything*. I'm really glad we did because we were able to soak it all up properly, whether it was catching the Citizens of Hollywood and their hilarious Christmas routines, being chased by stormtroopers (they wanted the Porg!) or seeing Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! on it's opening night.

It was all just magical!

On this trip we caught the official preview for Disney Pixar's Coco which was wonderful. Kiddo met Cruz Ramirez (dream come true for her!), we saw Voyage of the Little Mermaid countless times, sang along at the Frozen show (which was complete with songs from Olaf's Frozen Adventure!), indulged in all the Star Wars goodness, dined and snacked relentlessly and finally, we met the big man himself; Santa Claus. He was a real proper Santa (no fake beards here!) and Miss E adored sitting on his lap to tell him what she wanted for Christmas (a bike!). Such a lovely and memorable experience for her!

I dare say that out of all the WDW parks, the Christmas decorations and entertainment at Hollywood Studios were my favourite. Sitting by Echo Lake with it's bauble filled turquoise waters and giant Christmas tree was such a beautiful way to take a break in an afternoon. I don't know how long it will be before we get to experience the Christmas season at Walt Disney World again so I really wanted to soak up every last minute of everything festive on offer. Christmas snacks included, yes!

Anyway, onto some photos!

  2. Wow! Aww, I love these posts. Hollywood Studios looks so, so good. The effort they make for Christmas is so gorgeous, and the shows look like so much fun; bet I'd bawl my eyes out watching the Beauty and the Beast and Frozen ones! Aagh, you don't make it easy to be stuck here at home, ha!

Miss E is growing up so much, too! It looks like each moment is more magical than the last; hope she remembers these trips forever :).

As ever, the photos are to die for; you're so handy with your camera!
