A little Sunday round-up, some of the little things that I've been loving this week!

Summer plans

This weekend sees the start of summer for kiddo as she finished nursery on Friday for 6.5 weeks. Eek! It is her first experience of the 'summer holidays' and I really want to make it a good one for her! Hopefully we'll get lots of sunshine and I have plans to spend plenty of time outdoors, having picnics, baking together and taking trips to the cinema. We've also booked break in Blackpool which I am super excited about. It feels like so long since we were last there!

Cars 3

If you've not yet seen this at the cinema then blummin' well make sure you do! I really, thoroughly enjoyed it and to be honest... I went into the cinema not expecting much! It was funny, emotive and absolutely the perfect send off for Cars. Go see it, it's absolutely wonderful!

As mentioned above, I really want to make this summer the summer of picnics! Yesterday I made an effort to pack up some sandwiches when we set off for a walk in the Peak District. And? It was lovely! We are a family who have gotten into the habit of dining out pretty often so obviously, this is starting to hit our bank balance quite considerably. So over the next month or so, I really want to try and cut back a bit and enjoy the outdoors a bit more!

The 100 day countdown

When we booked our next Walt Disney World holiday wayyyyy back at the start of 2017, our departure date seemed like forever away. This weekend though, we finally passed the '100 days to go' mark and I'm now getting ridiculously excited. I know 100 days is still a long way to go but sshhh, this marker makes me so happy! I am still forever watching all the Disney vlogs and reading all the DIBB trip reports. Disney holidays just make me so happy!

Beauty & the Beast

Yes, another Disney related highlight of my week but bear with me, please! I spent most of the week suffering with the throat and cough from hell so I didn't have much chance to get out and about and 'do stuff'. Feeling better this weekend though, I popped into Sainsbury's to pick up Beauty & the Beast on DVD. They have a promotion running where you get the book of the film free with the DVD which is worth £6.99.... such a good deal! I am now going to watch Evermore on repeat from now until the end of time. Don't say I didn't warn ya.
