Things I've loved this week // 032

A little Sunday round-up, some of the little things that I've been loving this week!

Spring cleaning

You know something, I actually love cleaning! This week I have taken down all the birthday cards, decluttered loads, sold things on eBay, sorted out my wardrobe a bit, tidied, swapped photo frames around, splurged on some new cleaning products and exchanged the winter candles for some fresher scents. It feels so good!

I'm planning an absolutely huge car boot sale too once the weather is actually warm enough to stand outside for a few hours. This will free up so much space and hopefully make us as few pennies at the same time! Hurry up spring, I have stuff to get rid of!

The F.E.T.E. (From earth to earth) toothbrush

Yep, you read that right.... this week I am loving a toothbrush*! I'm always on the lookout for eco-friendly versions of products that I already use and these 100% biodegradable toothbrushes are such a great replacement for their plastic counterparts. F.E.T.E. toothbrushes are made from natural bamboo which is one of the world's fastest naturally renewing resources and not only is it much more attractive than plastic, bamboo is anti-microbial, anti-fungal and antibacterial which will help keep those nasty bugs away! The brushes can be purchased from amazon for around £15 for a pack of four if you're interested in making the switch from plastic yourself!

HIM tickets

I was pretty sad at the news that one of my favourite bands, HIM, are disbanding. HIM have been such a huge part of my life even through I haven't really listened to them for quite a while but their music will always remind me of meeting my husband oh, so many years ago! One of the first gigs we saw together was HIM, so much nostalgia! The band are off on a farewell tour around Europe later this year and so this week I was super excited to book our tickets to see them. Roll on December, aye?!

All the Oreos

I don't usually have a sweet tooth but every once in a while I go nuts and crave all the chocolate. This week has been all about Oreos as my mum picked up some of the new flavours that are now available in the shops. I don't know if I can pick a favourite flavour, the strawberry ones are gorgeous though!

Healed legs

My recent tattoos are just about all healed up which can only mean one thing..... Lush bath time! Yay! Baths are one of my favourite things to do so not being able to have one is the one and only thing I dislike about healing a tattoo. I've got quite a few bath bombs left over from Christmas still and loads of products i'm dying to use so i'm going to make the most of a few weeks of no tattoos whilst I can!

What have you been loving this week? Let me know in a comment below!

  1. Yes!! For cleaning. I work as a cleaner but then come home and find nothing better than completely gutting a room.
And yay for healed tattoos with no more tempting scabs haha...literally the worst part of a tattoo for me. I could sit all day but the scabby stage of healing is urgh!

    1. ahh, so good to find other people who love cleaning as much as me haha! I find it quite therapeutic?!
I love love love the process of getting a tattoo but not being able to take a proper bath is so hard as I love my baths!

Thank you so much for your comment, i've been a fan of your blog for years! xx

  2. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this to you before or not but have you tried Facebook selling groups? They're so good to get rid of odd bits and pieces whilst waiting on boot sales. I've used for a while now and my mum has just started using them too and it does help and can be a bit of a pain at times (as anything is dealing with the 'general public') but equally it's so quick to list as it just requires a photo, price and brief description and then you arrange for someone to simply pick up. No fees etc so it's perfect for the smaller priced items that you'd usually reserve for boot sales etc.

    1. Ahh, yes I think you have mentioned it before.... I must look into it as soon as I can! I imagine it's quite good for bulky baby items, eBay can be a bit of a nightmare for these! Thanks so much for your comment, always lovely to hear from you x
