Things I've loved this week // 031

A little Sunday round-up, some of the little things that I've been loving this week!

World book day

This year we celebrated World Book Day for the first time and kiddo had such a blast! She went off to nursery dressed as Belle then we spent the afternoon cuddled up on the sofa working through all the library books she bought home last week. My little girl loves her books and our days would not be complete without story time!

New hair

This week I treated myself to a cut and colour at the hairdressers and it has made me feel so much better about myself. Apart from having tattoos, I really don't treat myself to much that goes on 'myself' so this is something I really want to work on in the future..... self care is important and I really want to dedicate more time to that as I have been feeling so run down recently. New hair, a bubble bath or even a nap.... i'm definitely going to start using my spare time a little bit more wisely to include me!

A bit of normality

As mentioned above, I have been feeling super poorly and run down recently so even managing small things such as popping down the road for a Starbucks is a bit of normality that I am most definitely welcoming this week! Can't beat a croissant and a cappuccino!

Pug love

This little piggy who clamps herself to my body at every available opportunity. She's always ready for a cuddle and has been a topnotch hot water bottle whilst I have been poorly recently. I truly think that dogs can always sense when you need a little extra love and Elsie has been giving me precisely that over the past few weeks!

Beauty & the Beast goodies

Yeahhhh, it's not just kiddo..... i'm a huge Beauty & the Beast fan too! I am insanely excited about seeing the new movie this month as the original is my absolute all time favourite Disney movie. As you can probably imagine, I am so excited to see how it has been reworked. I'm going to cry, for sure!

I'm really excited about all the Beauty & the Beast stuff in the shops at the moment too, from cute pyjamas in Primark to all the new items in the Disney Store. I have my eye on the Be Our Guest dinnerware range at the moment, I wanted to buy it in Florida but obviously couldn't bring a full set home in my suitcase! Maybe now I will be able to get my hands on the set.... it's so gorgeous!

  1. Your dog Elsie is so cute! I agree. Our dog also knows when I's sad or tired. He'd use my feet as his pillow and sleep by the foot of the bed when I don't feel well. What makes me happy this week is that my grandson is now 15 months old. :)
