Animal Kingdom // Our trip to Walt Disney World, 2016

I've found a bit of time to share some photographs that I took on our trip to Walt Disney World in 2016. Finally!

Animal Kingdom was by far my favourite of the different parks at Walt Disney World. The park that showcases the magic of nature and celebrates all living things, I was continuously blown away by just how much there is to see and do. On more than one occasion during our trip we rearranged restaurant bookings just so that we could spend more time in Animal Kingdom. We still haven't seen it all or explored the park fully either.... I am counting the days until we are back there so we can do it all!

Animal Kingdom is just magical in every single way! I think it blew me away more than Magic Kingdom did in a sense, because it is pretty similar to Disneyland Paris and so I knew what to expect there. Plus, we're a family of animal lovers..... it was amazing to see and learn about all different kinds of creatures!

We loved the fact that entertainment, character meets, attractions and of course, animals were everywhere you looked. Cast members were always on hand, radiating their expert knowledge. There was one evening we visited Rafiki's Planet Watch near to closing time and one lady enthusiastically took the time to give us the full tour complete with the history of how Animal Kingdom was created. Mind blowing and so kind!

The food is also incredible. Not gonna life, I got myself quite an addiction to Pizzafari here. That chocolate mousse though. And I will be dreaming of Yak & Yeti until the day we return, I'm sure! I'm obsessed with food, can you tell?!

Anyway, here's a few photographs from our trip. Next time, Hollywood Studios!

  1. Animal Kingdom is a park this year my brother and I are insisting we visit as we didn't last year - esp as the Avatar land will have opened by then.

    1. It really is amazing, I am so looking forwards to the Avatar land despite the fact that I've never seen the movie (I must do that asap!) x
