Bath & Body Works candles
This week I have been burning some of the candles I bought home from Florida. The Winter Rose is absolutely delicious and I thoroughly regret not bringing more home with us now. I really love the scents, the only problem is they burn so quickly and they don't last long! Definitely not my favourite candles but now I have seen what all the fuss is about, I'll definitely try and get hold of some more over the next few months!
The end of the year always leave me with a sense of anticipation for the start of the next one and my thoughts are consumed with plans for all the things I'd like to happen. Holidays, concerts, new experiences and the start of a brand new chapter for kiddo (she starts pre-school in January!). It's all so exciting and after such an amazing 2016, I can't wait to see what the new year will have in store!
Christmas dinner (the first of many)
We popped up to our local pub the other day to enjoy our first Christmas dinner of the year. Our local is one of the Thornbridge pubs (I love their beers!) and is a super family friendly place with a lovely community vibe. Our meal was absolutely delicious and it was good to get some quality family time!
This weekend we made use of our Mayfield Alpaca Farm annual passes and attended one of their animal encounter days. We love these days so much as you get the chance to handle and learn about some amazing animals. Kiddo absolutely loved holding a meerkat and a skunk (they are so soft and cute it is unreal!) and husband got to hold a snake for the first time! It was such a lovely day out!
The Moana soundtrack
Honestly, we all love it so much in our house at the moment! We ordered the CD as soon as the saw the movie and we just can't get enough. I think Shiny is a bit of genius. Not gonna lie, it is currently working it's way up there into my list of favourite Disney songs!
