Things I've loved this week // 026

A little Sunday round-up, some of the little things that I've been loving this week!

Fleece bedding

Last Christmas I received a fleece bedding set as a gift from my mama (who purchased it from QVC). Now the weather is increasingly colder, I have started using it again and oh my goodness.... it. is. amazing. I love the fact that it doesn't need ironing. I love that the fabric is warm to the touch.... no cold sheets (I hate that in winter!). I wrote a blog post about it earlier this year so do have a read if you're interested!

VNV Nation

My favourite music this week by far. I'm very tempted to buy tickets for their Manchester gig next year. In fact, I better get a move on with that as it isn't long at all until then! How is 2017 so close?! This month is flying by!

Birthdays!

December is a busy month around here when it comes to birthdays. This week was my husband's birthday and we had a lovely day seeing people and going places. I bought him tickets to see a few bands that we both like along with some goodies from Fat Face and all the usual alcohol & book shaped gifts. In the afternoon we also popped up to Mayfield Alpacas to see the animals and get a bit of fresh air. It was such a lovely day!

Pizza Hut

I love a cheeky Pizza Hut meal now and again. We always order the same pizza to share. Always. I don't know why we even bother looking at the menu because it's always the same decision in the end.... a 50/50 with half Supreme and half Heavenly Veg with cheesy bites. Can't beat it!

Lazy afternoons

We're still (yep, still) all feeling a bit poorly and it's left us feeling a bit low on energy, especially during the afternoons. We've been trying to make resting more of a thing that we do so that we can all get better, we're usually always busy doing something or going somewhere and it doesn't help when you're feeling poop! So this week we've enjoyed snuggles on the sofa with blankets, plenty of hot chocolate and a DVD, a bit of YouTube or a story. Kiddo is really into Beauty & The Beast at the moment so we've had quite a lot of that on this week!
