Things I've loved this week // 013

A little Sunday round-up, some of the little things that I've been loving this week!

Getting some fresh air
Yesterday we popped over to West Yorkshire for a walk with lots of other lovely families for the #WalkWithWynsors event. I'll be blogging about it all at some point during the next few days but we had such a good time! When it comes to walking, we usually stick to areas we know so it was nice to venture out somewhere new (for me, anyway!) and see some new sights.

Sprucing up the garden
The lack of good weather means that we have been a little bit lazy with the garden this year. I've finally been inspired to get it sorted though as it currently resembles a sort of jungle! We've booked a hedge trim, started painting and bought some new flowers. Hopefully it'll be looking great again in no time.

Whilst we're on the subject of the garden, our beautiful David Austin roses have started blooming like crazy so I've been bringing some into the house so I can enjoy them all day long!

Combichrist
Last night we were lucky enough to see Combichrist live once again as part of the Make Europe Great Again tour. We managed to sneak right down to the front and my goodness, they were so freaking good! It was an amazing night. Honestly, one of the best live bands I've ever seen.... i'm so sad that this tour is over now!

Naughty food
When it comes to food, I feel like I have massively over indulged this week. Not necessarily a bad thing though! A little of what you fancy, ay?! Ps, this chocolate we bought home from Amsterdam is possibly the nicest chocolate I've had in so long! I don't even have a sweet tooth usually so that is saying something, for sure!

Gratitude
Finally, this little bean who makes me so thankful for every single day! I strive for her days to be filled with adventure, new experiences and all the love from the people around her. It's only a few months until she starts nursery so I want to make the most of all the time we have now until our next (exciting!) chapter begins.

  7. Aw what a lovely, positive post and a joy to read. That chocolate looks amazing, I was only saying to my boyfriend yesterday that I'd love to visit Amsterdaam. My favourite Youtuber (Black Friday) has been there recently and her videos have been awesome to watch.
Those roses are beautiful as well, lovely photos!

  10. Such a good idea for a post! It's always good to stop and be thankful for the good in life with how rubbish the outside world seems sometimes. That chocolate is amazing! I used to live in Holland and loved it. Yay for fresh air and dressing up :) x
