I popped over to Manchester on the train earlier this week to add another two tattoos to my collection. I think it's safe to say that I have well and truly caught the tattoo bug, I just love the process of getting tattooed, seeing them heal and keeping these amazing pieces of art on my skin forever. It's wonderful!
4 days off together as a family, doing lots of lovely things, eating lots of chocolate, seeing lots of people. Perfect! We also took Miss E to see Peppa Pig's Surprise at Buxton Opera House this weekend. It was her first proper trip to the theatre (apart from circus and Disney shows) and she really enjoyed it. Plenty of songs and audience interaction, just the right length to keep her entertained too! It was great!
....Including this banoffee waffle I devoured on Thursday evening. It was so good! There are heaps of new places to eat popping up close to where we live so we're getting round to trying them out. So far, so good! Already planning to go back for sticky toffee pudding asap....
I know that I've mentioned Seasalt a few times on my weekly round-ups but I just love everything that they do!
As warmer days are hopefully on their way, I am in desperate need of shoes-that-aren't-boots. Seasalt have a gorgeous range in at the moment, the colours are just perfect.
I am also eyeing up their dresses. Let's face it, I am always eyeing up Seasalt dresses!
Flapjacks, cakes and more! Miss E has started taking much more of an interest in the kitchen recently and loves helping mummy whether its weighing out ingredients, stirring or sneakily spooning out sweet stuff and eating it! This week we made some super quick chocolate Easter egg nest cakes.... the perfect recipe for her age, she's able to make them all herself (apart from the bits involving the cooker, of course!) and as they don't take long to make, she doesn't get bored and wander off half way through!
What have you been loving this week? Let me know in a comment!
