Things I've loved this week // 008

A little Sunday round-up, some of the little things that I've been loving this week!

Travel planning
I have literally fallen head over heels in love with Lord of the Lost over the past few years. Honestly, I don't think I've ever loved a band so hard! So much so that when their latest tour was announced this week (along with a heap of other bands I love!), it wasn't long until I booked tickets for one of the dates. 500 miles away. Agh, I'm so excited! It'll be the first time I've spent more than a few hours away from Miss E but of course, she'll be incredibly well looked after by her grandma.

Black Lipstick
Certainly not for everyday wear but still..... I think I like it?!

All the food
My goodness, I feel like this week I have eaten all the food. For sure. The week started off with a visit to Yummy Yorkshire over near Huddersfield where I demolished the most incredible "Brisket & Blue" burger served up with homemade coleslaw and skin on fries shortly before attempting a go at an ice cream waffle sundae topped with sweets, sauce, cream and chocolate. I certainly don't regret it one bit and will be dreaming of that meal for a while. So good!

Clearing out the old
I've spent a good part of this week boxing and bagging up various items and taking them to the charity shop. I've also passed on a few bits of furniture to family, listed heaps of things on eBay and continued photographing/scanning old letters and greetings cards. I have no idea how I'm still finding stuff to get rid of after so long but I can promise you, it still feels great! You can catch up with my other decluttering/minimalism posts by clicking here.

In with the new
....Mostly bulking out Miss E's spring wardrobe with accessories, pretty knits and jeans! Miss E is growing so fast at the moment and she's now firmly in 3-4 year old clothing as she's so tall. Buying clothes for her never gets boring though, everything is so cute when it comes to shopping for kids!

What have you been loving this week? Let me know in a comment!

  3. Love the black lipstick - I'm a big fan of fun shades of lipstick and I'm frequently seen sporting my Ruby Woo matte red. I had a gorgeous dark maroon lipstick that was just a shy shade away from black but one of the tinkers got it as babies... sigh! H x

  4. I'm afraid my week has not been very exciting- just busy! Trying to get my blog off the ground and get my head around social media, especially Twitter. Quite addictive though and loving it so far......... xx

  6. We've been on a decluttering mission too as we're moving home soon. I'm currently tackling the toy situation and the toys are winning at the moment!!!
