Rainy Days with Dry Kids

It has been feeling distinctly autumnal over the last week or so, hasn't it?! I've been digging out a few warmer clothes and our wellies have seen more than a few outings recently!

Miss E absolutely adores splashing in puddles and she's a real fan of rainy days so I've been looking to get her stocked up with suitable outdoor clothing in anticipation of the colder months. I've been on the lookout for a good quality waterproof all-in-one for a while (well, since last winter!) so when I was offered the chance to try out an item from the fantastic outdoor clothing range over at Dry Kids I headed straight for their range of all-in-ones*

Dry Kids all-in-ones come in a range of colours including red, navy and royal blue. I opted for the fuchsia pink as I thought it looks super cheerful!

I've seen all-in-one suits like this in shops priced at well over £20 so I must admit that with this one being priced at just £11.40 I was a little hesitant about what the quality would be like when it arrived. It arrived within a couple of days though and straight out of the packet I was instantly impressed. The fabric is actually quite substantial but not in a bulky way and the zips and stitching are all perfectly finished. I loved the addition of thoughtful touches such as elastic cuffs at both wrists and ankles and a hood with mesh lining and a peaked cap which will keep drips away from little faces!

The day after we received this was a super rainy day so it presented us with the perfect opportunity to try it out. Miss E was so excited! We popped it on over her outfit and the ankle cuffs fit nice and snug over her wellies. The suit fastens with one full length zip which begins at one ankle and fastens up the front to the neck. It was super easy to get on and take off which is really handy, especially if your child likes to get super muddy!

The first day we tried it out was incredibly rainy but Miss E stayed warm and dry the entire time. The waterproof fabric has been tested by Dry Kids to 3000mm of hydrostatic head, it's an ideal piece of wet weather gear for children!

Dry Kids cater for a huge range of ages, the all-in-ones are available from 1 year old and go right up to 11-12 years. Miss E currently wears 2-3 year clothing and the 2 year all-in-one is the perfect size but also has enough growing space and space to add warm layers underneath.

I'm really impressed with the all-in-one and it will be an item that we reach for over and over this autumn. No more worrying about muddy trousers and wet socks!

Dry Kids sell a huge range of outdoor clothing including over trousers, fleeces, jackets and hats. Why not hop over to their website to take a look at what they have to offer?!

* I was sent this item to review but all words are my own.
