In 2013....

.... I visited London to see Cirque Du Soleil's Kooza at the Royal Albert Hall / Stayed at the amazing Gore Hotel in Kensington / Got pregnant /  Enjoyed plenty of snow days / Took a trip to York for birthday shopping / celebrated my birthday at the Rose Cottage in Castleton /  Got a new job and reduced my hours....



.... Took countless trips out into the Peak District / Spent a week in a pine lodge halfway between Looe and Polperro in Cornwall....


.... Took Elsie on as many fun days out as possible including entering her into summer dog shows / Visited Wentworth numerous times for cake / Craved orange juice for the first half of my pregnancy and totally went off food....


.... Regained my appetite and shared plenty of meals out with my husband / Had a pre-baby holiday in Blackpool / Went behind the scenes at the Blackpool Tower and had fun exploring the circus and ballroom / saw the Blackpool Tower circus where I felt Miss E kick for the first time during the show / Visited a sealife centre and the zoo....



.... Visited London during the hottest week of the year / Ate at Five Guys (best burger of the year!) / Shopped at Tiffanys and Harrods / Saw Cirque Du Soleil's Alegria at the O2 / Had a 3D pregnancy scan / Shopped for baby goods ....


.... Had a holiday at Hornsea and Bridlington / Enjoyed pregnancy cravings for iced Diet Coke / Left work to start maternity leave / Visited Matlock Meadows for the millionth time to enjoy their amazing ice cream....



.... Gave birth to Miss E in October and fell in love with her completely / Spent plenty of time resting and bonding with Miss E during the following six weeks whilst being treated for an internal infection (me) and jaundice (her) after her traumatic birth / Had a Halloween party and tried to get out and about nonetheless....



.... Visited plenty of Christmas fairs / Took Miss E on her first outings into the Peak District / Visited family / Celebrated our first Christmas together as a family....



....2013, you've been fantastic!

  2. What an amazing year for you! SO jealous of your circus trips, and how amazing that Emilia kicked for the first time at a Circus! awwww!
