Christmas Weekends

I get ridiculously excited about Christmas each year and this year even more so because we have baby Miss E! I decided at the beginning of last week that I couldn't wait any longer to get the decorations out and over the past few days I have been decorating the house ready for our first Christmas together as a family!

In our grand build-up to Christmas we have been visiting Christmas fairs every weekend throughout November to buy gifts, sample plenty of cakes and drink copious amounts of mulled wine. This weekend it was the turn of Bakewell Christmas market so we got up early on Saturday, wrapped up warm and headed out for another day of shopping out in the Peak District.
I wore the Mickey Mouse Christmas jumper that was sent to me recently courtesy of George at Asda to bring even more festive cheer to the day. Festive knits are not just reserved for Christmas Day in this household! It kept me warm and toasty all day long and I received quite a few comments from strangers saying how cute it is!

George have a fab range of Christmas jumpers this year, I had a hard time picking one.... be quick if you want one though, it looks like they are selling out fast! The jumper I have retails at £14.00 and I think it's a really great way of injecting a bit of fun into your winter wardrobe without breaking the bank!

After visiting the Christmas fair we had a lovely walk in the park with Miss E and Elsie. Elsie had fun chasing the last of the autumn leaves and she met an 11 month old puppy (not sure what breed it was, St Bernard maybe?) ..... it was the biggest puppy I have ever seen! Elsie's face in the photograph below makes me laugh so much, she looks terrified by the size of it!

Have you been to any Christmas fairs so far this year? And are you the proud owner of a festive knit?
