There is something about autumn that makes me want to kit myself out with brand new boots, coats, gorgeous knitwear and colourful accessories. Each year I eagerly await the autumn/winter collections from my favourite clothing brands and when it comes to dressing for the season of muddy dog walks, never ending rain and much cooler temperatures I always find myself turning to Joules for their gorgeous clothes that never disappoint in terms of quality!
For me, Joules clothing possesses that perfect mix of practicality and style. They describe their brand brilliantly with their tag line "Joules - upbeat, colourful clothing for women, men and children who love the outdoors and live life to the full". They are a quintessentially British company and their clothes match my lifestyle exactly for although i'm a city girl, I love nothing more than spending my spare time out in the nearby countryside or walking Elsie the Pug!
I am a huge fan of coats by Joules and I will readily admit to already owning quite a few by the brand. Last winter I treated myself to the beautiful Belmont coat, probably one of my best ever purchases as I didn't feel the cold once throughout all those freezing snow-filled days!
Browsing this years offering on the website, I am currently lusting after their wonderful tweed jackets collection. Tweed is such an iconic and classic country fabric, full of style and heritage and nothing says country living and unique British charm like a bit of tweed! I love what Joules have done with this fabric too; preserving a classic style but injecting each piece with their own unique twist. From delightful animal button fastenings to bold floral linings, I just adore all the attention to detail.
My absolute favourite from the collection is the tweed fieldcoat above, an item that I have been fawning over for quite a few winters now. It is so beautiful yet completely practical, a true Joules classic!
Joules have a tweed jacket for everyone, from the fitted and super feminine look of the 'Parade' jacket to the 1940's glamour of the 'Glenmere' coat.... i'd have a hard time picking just one!
Are you a fan of Joules? Which jacket would you go for? Let me know your thoughts!
