31 weeks, 1 day
I can't believe we're at 31 weeks already, it is crazy how quickly time is going now with only 9 weeks to go.... The countdown is officially on!
Over the past few weeks I have had plenty of antenatal appointments including a few more scans and various trips to the hospital to be strapped to a machine that monitors baby's heartbeat/movements. As baby is currently in such an awkward position, I'm not feeling much movement even though she's having a grand old party in there! She's currently breech but we still have a few more weeks for her to turn around, fingers crossed!
This morning I had another scan and baby is currently weighing 4lbs and is slightly over average in size.... bang on target and all good!
At 28 weeks, we had an appointment with Babybond in Sheffield for a 4D bonding scan. We had a really fantastic time and we came away with various photographs and a DVD to remember the day by. I really recommend having one of these scans if you are able to, it's a really lovely experience and creates some lovely memories!
How I'm feeling....
The exhaustion I felt in the first trimester has returned with a vengeance and currently naps are the best invention ever. We have had a few trips away recently and we haven't been able to do as much as I would have liked because I get tired so easily. Luckily I have plenty of holiday coming up and it's only a month until I go on maternity leave. I just want the next few weeks to go super quickly!
During the next few weeks the pram, car seat, nursery furniture, etc will slowly start arriving but until then we are busy clearing out my craft room and getting ready to create a lovely little bedroom!
