Cupcake Making With Bakingmad.com....

I seem to have gotten out of the baking habit recently so when I was contacted to see if I would like to try my hand at one of the recipes over at bakingmad.com, it was an offer I just couldn't refuse!

Bakingmad.com is not a baking site that I had heard of before but upon visiting the website I was surprised at just how comprehensive it is. This is basically your one stop shop for pretty much every baking recipe that you can think of, from cupcakes to brownies and from celebration cakes to scones, this website has it all! There are also plenty of savoury treats over there too including pickles and chutney, different varieties of bread, pies, tarts and pastries.

I fancied making something sweet and fruity so after browsing the website for inspiration, I settled upon these simple but delicious sounding raspberry cupcakes....

I love the fact that the bakingmad.com website that is super easy to navigate. All of the instructions for each recipe are clearly written out, sometimes with helpful videos and tips if you need a little help. There is even the option to send the list of ingredients to your mobile phone, perfect for whilst out shopping!

Once all of the ingredients had been gathered, the actual recipe was really simple to make and didn't take long at all. In fact, it wasn't long until I was sat down with a large cup of tea and a cupcake (or three!)....

To be honest, i'm not a girl with a sweet tooth so I did heavily cut back on the frosting (& I certainly couldn't be bothered using a piping bag as suggested either!) but I really loved that these cupcakes are made with plenty of raspberries and garden mint.... they were really delicious and fresh tasting. I shared them round with my husband and family and they all commented on how nice they were!

I'll definitely be making a few more recipes from the website very soon as there is just so much choice of what to make. I certainly have my eye on a few more cupcake recipes including the wonderful sounding peanut butter and jelly cupcakes and I was also kindly sent a pile of lovely Silver Spoon goodies so I hope to put these to use too....

.... hmm.... choices, choices!

  1. Your cupcakes look delicious! I like this website and the gluten free selection is quite lovely. I've tried the gluten free rocky road crunch and chocolate brownies, both very tasty! x
