Our New Sideboard....

We inherited quite a bit of furniture and other items from my husband's side of the family recently and one of the pieces is this beautiful Ercol sideboard for our dining room. When we bought our first house last year, I longed for original 1960's Ercol furniture but couldn't afford the hefty price tags whilst furnishing a house from scratch. I'm really thrilled we now own a few pieces!

The new sideboard now takes pride of place in our dining room and holds many happy memories as well as all of our party ware and crockery!

We have a matching table and chairs that we still need to bring into the house but I think that will be a job for another day!

Ps, I adore these gorgeous little Pumpkin candle holders that I picked up today..... you'd never guess they were from good old Poundland would you?!

  2. Poundland! You've gotta love it. What do you make of the Yankee Candles? They seem a bit over priced but I'd be happy to cough up the cash for a scent that really fills the whole room.Rx

  7. Wow I love it, I'm so jealous! I love ercol furniture but can't really afford the vintage stuff on ebay or in antique shops.
