A Day Out in the Peak District....

Today we visited some of our favourite places in the Peak District for lunch, ice creams and a spot of shopping. I've been a bit tired and stressed recently so it was nice to do something simple on a nice sunny September day!

Our first port of call was Hassop Station, just outside of Bakewell. We eat here so many times each month as the food is wonderful and really inexpensive. The place is also a magnet for dog owners so Elsie always makes new friends here!

Afterwards we headed to Bakewell for a potter around the charity shops and I took a few snaps of the flowers in the gardens on the way....

Elsie was having a bit of a 'tired day' too, taking every opportunity to sunbathe on the pavement instead of walking....

On the way home we stopped in at Chatsworth Farm Shop to buy our tea. I always love the food there and I especially love the Christmas items which are starting to creep in slowly, yippee!

  3. Seems that you had a lovely day out, Hun. Love your pictures and you are looking so pretty. I love your hair style and keep fighting the urge to cut mine like that. ;) What stops me is Hubby and the fact that it has taken ages to be as long as it is now. :) xx
