Disneyland Resort Paris Turns 20....

20 years ago on this very day, Disneyland Resort Paris opened its gates to the public. A place where I have visited more times than I can remember, it literally is my obsession! It is said that the Magic Kingdom in Paris is the most beautiful of them all, and I couldn't agree more!

I have some of the most amazing memories from trips.... from summers to Halloween celebrations, and from Bonfire nights to Christmas. My husband and I have shared their anniversaries, their best moments and we even chose to spend our Honeymoon there which really was the most incredible experience ever!

I have been following the celebrations today via Twitter and Facebook wishing I was there, I need to wait until later in the year though for my next trip! Looking through my old photographs is getting me majorly excited though....

  1. We're going in the summer and I can't wait, the last time I was there was 12 years ago. We got free tickets through Sky which was great.Rx

  2. Hello beautiful Rebecca! Wow! Disneyland in Paris is gorgeous!!! I love the pink castle! I went to Disneyland in Florida many, many years ago and would love to go back! My brother went a few years ago and sent a postcard saying, "It really is the happiest place in the world!" Sweetie, I am so glad you have enjoyed many happy memories there with your dear husband! I know you two will have many more wonderful times there together!!! I am so glad you shared all of these beautiful photos, so I could get a idea of what it is like! I would love to visit this one any day!!! You will be back there before you know it! Much love, Paula xoxo

  4. Gosh! I didn’t realise the anniversary was today, I bet there are so many celebrations going on right now. When we were there last month there were lots of signs about the 20th anniversary and quite a bit of maintenance work going on too.
I couldn’t quite believe the feeling I felt stepping foot into the park for the first time, there really is something so magical about Disney.
I deeply wish I had had the opportunity to go as a child, but the wait and anticipation all these years made me really cherish every single moment whilst I was there. I can imagine there is an amazing atmosphere at different times of the year. It really is the most wonderful place.

p.s Are you collecting the Magic Moment cards? xxx

    1. I know what you mean about stepping into the park, I can assure you whether you have been once or twenty times.... it never fails to feel just as magical!

I haven't been collecting the Magic Moment cards although I've had a few free with the food shopping. I wanted to win a free trip! x

  7. I've never been to this one... I live in the states, too far away for now :) But I have been to Disneyworld in Orlando many times! I now only live an 8 hours drive from there or a 1.5 hour flight. I'm lemming to get there around Christmastime! The Paris Disneyland looks nice :) xx
